Citizen One: A Memoir that Advances Multiverse Thinking

Challenge: Citizen One: A Memoir of the Future, to be published in Fall 2025, will explore the intersection of futuristic urbanism, sustainability, and personal transformation. The challenge was to craft a compelling narrative that could resonate with global audiences, secure a publishing deal with a leading brand, and position Multiverse Thinking—a framework for embracing complexity and innovation—as a cornerstone of my thought leadership. Additionally, the project aimed to leverage this platform to extend my influence beyond the memoir.


Solution: To realize the potential of Citizen One, the author:


  • Produced a Transformative Manuscript: Combined my experiences at NEOM and personal reflections on transformation with actionable insights on global challenges, including climate resilience and urban inequality. The narrative balanced introspection with forward-thinking solutions.

  • Positioned Multiverse Thinking: Framed the memoir around the concept of Multiverse Thinking, demonstrating how interconnected systems and diverse perspectives drive innovation and adaptability in uncertain times.

  • Expanded Thought Leadership: Published essays and insights aligned with the themes of the book, disrupting conventional approaches to innovation and sustainability. These writings further reinforced my credibility as a visionary thinker.

  • Secured a Publishing Deal: Successfully pitched Citizen One to Fast Company, aligning the memoir with their focus on transformative ideas and leadership.

  • Publishing Success: Citizen One was acquired by Fast Company, establishing it as a marquee publication that bridges personal and professional narratives with global innovation.

  • Global Influence: My thought leadership essays and innovative frameworks have led to an invitation to join other world leaders in a paid global advisory role for major brands through Label Sessions. This partnership allows me to further extend the principles of Multiverse Thinking to influential decision-makers worldwide.

  • Platform for Change: The memoir has become a springboard for advancing conversations on urban innovation, sustainability, and the collective future, amplifying my voice as a global thought leader.
